Dear Pinheads,

It's called a snow day... ever heard of it?????? I don't suppose you need to worry about driving in the snow, of course. You probably have a well-paid driver, paid for with my money.
How was my commute? Oh, thanks for asking! I left school at 3pm. It took me 45 minutes to get from 57th to 55th on Lake Shore Drive. There was a plow a few cars in front of me, but he had the plow up and wasn't salting. Hmmm, that's weird! Anyhow, I pretty much had a death grip on the steering wheel down LSD because I really did fear for my life. I couldn't see in front of, or in back of me. We couldn't see the lane markings, so people were driving everywhere. If I went over 5 mph my car slid back and forth. Windshield wipers let me down, man. Had to sit way up in the seat to peek through the wiped part. I screamed a lot.
Is it worth it? Wouldn't it just be better to take a day and know that all the teachers and students are safe at home?
Oh, and then I got stuck in the alley for 20 minutes at home. Dev & I had to shovel out.
Total commute time= 3 hours.
Sooooo, I won't be in tomorrow. Hope you don't mind. Maybe you can take my class. Don't forget the ISATs are in a few weeks...
Warmest regards,
Kroushlconflict
