Listen up you!

Don't even think about taking any of my baby names.

You either:

We've got it narrowed down to about 5 on the girls list and about 10 on the boys list. I'm not about to get scooped like we did the last time. Unfortunately I won't be able to reveal any of our possible choices here, because then people will start telling me stories about how that name reminds me of so-and-so-the-child-molester or so-and-so-the-skanky-ho-they-went-to-high-school-with, and then the name will be ruined.
I'm not really feeling drawn to one name in particular, which makes me nervous. Although the official count is 3 weeks, realistically it could be any day now. Which would put us in the same situation as last time: the baby's out and we still haven't decided. Too much pressure there, plus there's Grandmas present giving you the ole don't-name-the-baby-something-crazy stank eye.
Nope, this time I need to know in advance. I don't know about you, but after 31 hours of labor, the last thing I really feel like doing is making any huge life decisions. Just not feelin' it right then, go figure. At that point you're just wondering how you're still alive.

Wish us luck.

Good luck, and don't rule out "Stank Eye Henkel-Legarre-Kroushl". It's unisex and you can tell your grandma she inspired the name!

I think we'll reserve Stank Eye for a nickname.

I think that Baby Rio has a nice ring to it.

Best of luck! If it's a boy, I like the sound of Burgermeister Pickles McGillicuddy.

Looking forward to the good news!

I'm a teacher. Apparently this means I must know EVERY answer to EVERY question in all of creation. Heaven help me if I make a spelling error. I'm also a wife & "new Mommie" (shudder). Don't get me wrong, I love my babies, but the phrase "new mommie" has got to go. It just conjures up images of scrunchies & sweat pants in my mind. Phooey.
