I wanna play!
So we got a letter from the IRS a few weeks back telling us we didn't pay our taxes this year. Oh, and now in addition to what we owe, we also need to pay a penalty.
Um, no. Did you happen to notice that check you cashed? See, we sent that for our taxes. As payment. And you cashed the check.
Ok, yes last year we did forget to sign our tax form. But this year we did! And we sent a check! Are you listening to me!?
Well, I think we have the matter "sorted out". We spoke to someone on the phone, and we sent a copy of the canceled check. I'm assuming that's why we haven't received our stimulus check yet.

Here's how a bunch of people are spending their money. I'll probably be saving it for this purchase for our new home:
Room & Board's Kyoto Table in Sepia w/ Wegner Wishbone chairs. How hot is this set? At $835 a pop for the chairs, it may be a bit much, but the table will be MINE, ALL MINE!!! WHAA HA HA!

No check for us, and we've followed all of the prevailing tax laws. Filed early, even. I think when and if we do get this check, we're not going to stimulate the economy out of spite.
