Been bad at a'bloggin lately. My neighbors have been sneakily tricking me into drinking beer with them on the porch at night, which has been seriously been cutting into my writing. Anyhow,
So last year when the Cubs made the playoffs, Devin & I were screwing around with the camera, just for fun. We took some really horrible shots & of course I put them up on Flickr like I always do.
Well apparently the above pic ended up on the front page of the site &
EVERYONE IN THE DAMN WORLD has seen it. (1300 views) I don't normally make my pics private, because they are mostly shots of the kids taken with my really crappy camera. I've got some cute shots up there, of course I'm no expert. It would just figure that the one they choose to put up there is the one of me, about 6 months pregnant, fat & happy & in my pajamas. Perhaps one of the worst pictures I've ever taken. (By the way, I was not drinking, in case you were wondering...)
For some reason they felt it necessary to single me out to be the victim of their little mockfest. That's ok, unlike some people, I can dish it out & I can certainly take it too. It's point, focus (if yer the fancy type) & shoot. It's not rocket science people. Are their eyes open? Yes? Good enough for me.
But I'm rambling here. Don't know the original point of my post. I think it began as a diatribe against photography snobs, but this cold is making me brain all foggy. Yaaaarrrr. Also I'm all a'twitter for the game tonight. Must remember to make the friendly wager w/ the cousins from LA. Better make it good because we SHALL CRUSH THEM. (fingers crossed)
